Admission is by audition only. Spaces are limited. Please submit a video with the following:
- Introduction. Please share your school, grade, teacher, and a hobby you enjoy besides your instrument.
- 1-2 minutes of a concerto movement
- 1-2 minutes of a contrasting piece
All audition videos are due by Sunday, September 13 at 8 p.m.

Rehearsals on Friday evenings from 6:30-8:10 p.m. in Northwest Austin.
- Full ensemble (45 minutes)
- BREAK (10 min)
- Small-ensemble breakout sessions (45 minutes)
Students must attend ⅔ of rehearsals to remain in good standing. Students whose attendance drops below the required level will forfeit their participation in the group for the remainder of the semester, and will not become eligible to participate again until the next academic year.
Slots in Stringendo!!! are limited. Once admitted, your space is reserved for the semester and other students may be turned away. For this reason, tuition cannot be refunded for students who forfeit their participation due to insufficient attendance. Please carefully review your calendar to ensure that you can attend the required number of rehearsals.
Tuition is $400 per semester and includes all rehearsals and concerts. Tuition is non-refundable.
IMPORTANT: Students should ensure that they are able to fulfill the required commitment to the group before committing.
If a student does not attend the required number of rehearsals, their position in the group will be forfeited, and they will be ineligible for the ensemble for the rest of the year.
Tuition is non-refundable. If a student is removed from the group due to insufficient attendance, or withdraws due to personal or academic reasons, tuition will not be refunded.
